I was in the area for just a night and other hotels were full at outrageous prices. Japan House looks like an older "motel" from the exterior, but the rooms are super clean with great linens and surprisingly quiet. The location is fantastic, easy to find and quick on/off the highway, close to the downtown area. The room was big, comfortable, and the A/C unit was really appreciated. Mimi, the lady at the front desk, was very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
